- Hi there,
-
- I am a recent subscriber to this newsgroup. You don't have to be
- around long to realize that people post requests for book
- recommendations about a million times a day. However, they are
- usually people who are new to the language and want to start from
- scratch. I am a long time C programmer so C++ syntax is not a
- problem to me. I understand how to do stuff like derivation,
- overloading, etc. but I'm not sure when to use them. What I think
- I need is a good book on Object Oriented Design/Programming. I see
- those techniques are used a lot in GUI programming which is something
- else I would like to learn (particularly Win95 or Motif). Can someone
- out there help me?
-
- Thanks in advance,
- scott
